Add a computer

Three steps, on the computer you want to add. No server address or token to type.

  1. Install Pairnets

    WindowsMacLinux

    Intel Mac? Use this one.

  2. Sign in with your browser

    Open Pairnets, type your nest's name, nest.pairnets.app, and press Sign in with your browser. Your browser opens your nest, where you check that the code matches and press Allow. Nothing else to install, no token to copy.

    Your other computers also show a "wants to join" notice that leads to the same page.

  3. Pick a folder

    Choose the folder to keep in sync. It catches up with your other computers, then stays in sync on its own.

Browser says it can't reach nest.pairnets.app? Check the name for typos, and that your server is on. Here's what to check.
